Share and Collect Flips All Over the Web!

We’ve launched an exciting new feature on Flipshake today: Embeddable Flips. Now you can take any Flip and show it on your own website or blog. The embedded Flip functions just like it does on the Flipshake site and can be Flipped and even collected right from the page it’s on! Right now we’re releasing it in two sizes, as seen below, with more options to come soon.

This is a great way to show others your favorite Flips and the Flips you’ve made. We hope you like it. Let us know what you think!

What kind of code is the embed function made up of? I tried putting it into my DeviantArt css journal but it only showed up as text and symbols. Love this new function! Now we only need some kind of game to put the flips into action.

The code is HTML and the player it contains is in Flash. Some sites do not allow embedded code and unfortunately I have yet to see a way to add it to DeviantArt. The code is very similar to that used by YouTube and most other sites for embedding media and should work in most blogs and websites where you can add or control HTML. Many blogging sites have an “Embed Code” button in their visual editors as well. If anyone ever wants help using this on a specific site, please feel free to reach us directly and we’ll try our best to help you out.
