Avatar: The Last Airbender

Seeing how much awesome Avatar fan art we’ve seen on the site, I’ve decided I’d better get up to speed on the show you all seem so crazy about. Though it seems a show I’d love to watch, I admit I’ve never watched an episode. Well now I’ve got season one sitting in my iTunes and I hope to catch up with all of you in your love for Avatar!
If you guys have any insider advice or tips on how best to enjoy the show, I’d love to hear it. Also let me know what it is you guys liked so much about the show. I’ll let you guys know what I think after I watch the first few episodes. :)

Oh man, what isn’t there to like about this show?? Characters are all unique and believable, the action is superb and the effects are just really amazing. The creators took a really tired concept (element powers) and made it fresh again… One thing thats neat to look for if you have friends who do martial arts is the different styles of fighting that are expressed in the show. The attention to choreography detail in the animation is just so awesome to see. Can’t love this show any more <3

I liked it because the characters and the world they inhabit are surprisingly complex, and everyone has an interesting progression through the story. But I also liked it because it’s really, really pretty! And funny, AND all the fight scenes are completely awesome, and and and.
It is just about my favourite thing ever. :D
